Mardi Gras March 13th – 14th 2010
A weekend of costumes, parades, music and good times in the Village and at Holiday Valley Resort. You won’t want to miss one of the zaniest parades ever on Saturday March 13th right down the main street of Ellicottville. Get your costumes and beads ready and enjoy great music and entertainment in the Village of Ellicottville and on the slopes of Holiday Valley Resort. You may even win the Mardi Gras King and Queen competition at the Village Gazebo immediately following the parade.
Women’s Weekend June 11th – 13th 2010
Honor, educate, and celebrate being a woman! Events include hiking, herbal tea part, cooking classes, fly fishing, archery, yoga, pilates, beer tasting, basic brewing, and much much more.
Ellicottville Championship Rodeo July 2nd – 5th 2010
Held each year over the 4th of July weekend, Sommerville Valley Stables hosts the Chamionship Rodeo which is fun for the whole family!
Gazebo Series July 2nd – August 5th 2010
Music and entertainment featured in the Ellicottville Gazebo.
Summer Festival of the Arts July 2nd – July 4th 2010
Join in at a concert on the slopes of Holimont with a featured artist, the Buffalo Philarmonic Orchestra at Holiday Valley, and a fireworks display at Holiday Valley. The Arts and Crafts show will be on Saturday and Sunday on Jefferson St. with the annual pet parade on Washington St. Finishing out the weekend is the Strawberry Festival on Sunday.
Americana Folk Art and Music Fair July 17th – 18th 2010
The Rotary Club of Ellicottville, Foundation for Youth brings this festival to celebrate the spirit of the artistic communitly that makes up the Ellicottville and Enchanted Mountains area. Arts, music, food will be in the town sqare on Saturday then moves to Holiday Valley on Sunday.
Ellicottville Jazz Weekend July 30th – August 1st 2010
A unique experience of Jazz performances across town in restaurants, bars & nightclubs, street side, and the village square. Enjoy the towns shops and boutiques while you stroll the town and take in the mountain air.
Taste of Ellicottville August 7th – 8th 2010
Taste the very best Ellicottville has to offer. Samples from the 22 restaurants set up on the street for your enjoyment from 12:00pm to 4:00pm!
IBO World Bowhunting Championships August 11th – 14th 2010
The championship will be held at the Holiday Valley Resort. Sanctioned by the International Bowhunting Organization, this events brings in thousands of competitors and their families from around the world, all hoping to win th world title and over $200,000 in cash and prizes! Vender booths, practice and defense ranges open on the 11th with qualifying rounds on the 12th. The Holiday Valley Archery Festival will also be held at the same time for non-qualified shooters who would like to try out the world class ranges. This event is open to all archers with admission of $40 and you must pre-register. Enjoy the trade show, competition, and the Future Bowhunters division for the kids.
Children First Festival August 14th 2010
Sponsored by the Ellicottville Rotary Club, the festical will have a full day of fun for children of all ages. The theme for this years event is the Circus! There will be a circus, fashion show, parade, hands-on activities and much more!
Rock’N Oldies September 17th – 19th 2010
Check out this great weekend of hip shaking oldies entertainment in Ellicottville’s bars and reatuarants. Stroll through the 200 Antique and Custom Rods with live music Friday and Satuday night! A classic car show will be from 12:00pm to 4:00pm on Sunday!
Fall Festival October 9th – 10th 2010
Ellicottville’s oldest and largest festival all to showcase the stunning foliage of the surrounding hills! Thousands and thousands of visitors enjoy the food, crafts, arts, carnival rides, live entertainment and much more!
Christmas in Ellicottville November 26th – 28th 2010
Ellicottville hosts a Chirstmas wonderland with strolling choirs singing all your favorite Chirstmas carols. Hot chocoloate, hot apple cider and decorated windows of all the historic buildings bring back the Christmas of old. Reindeer, phots, and breakfasts with Santa and Fire Truck rides with Santa bring the family together.
Christmas Stroll December 4th 2010
Welcome Santa to Ellicottville with a live Nativity scene with a live camel, ogran music, and tours of St. John’s Church. Make ornaments, cookies, and finish with a wagon ride with caroling elves! And don’t miss the Reindog Parade on Washington St at 6pm.
